WATSONVILLE, CA - What better place for an organic produce launch than at the 2023 Organic Produce Summit (OPS)? Attendees are in for a treat this year, as many fresh-forward champions will be introducing their latest products. A & A Organic Farms is one of them, launching its new Wellness Shot Kit—a 1 lb clamshell consisting of 8 oz of Organic Ginger and 8 oz of Organic Turmeric.

“We feel that the OPS Show is a great place to introduce our new products,” President Andy Martin said. “Many retailers and distributors travel from all over to come to this show that is in our backyard, the Central Coast. We love to be able to highlight a sampling of our produce.”

A & A Organic’s Wellness Shot Kit was specifically designed to provide easy access to fresh, organic ingredients. Fresh Turmeric and fresh Ginger offer a multitude of wellness benefits due to powerful anti-inflammatory and phenolic properties. According to a press release, compounds like Curcumin in Turmeric and Gingerol in Ginger show health benefits such as reducing inflammation, boosting the immune system, and providing relief of nausea.

Produce for Better Health Foundation’s annual conference this year reiterated that grocery stores are now part of the healthcare ecosystem. Along with the Wellness Shot Kit, A & A Organic offers a variety of juicing components in a one-stop shop for retailers and distributors. Other offerings include organic Valencia oranges, limes, lemons, and grapefruit as well as strawberries, mangos, garlic, and much more.

A & A Organic has been an exhibitor at OPS since 2017. In 2018, it won The Most Innovative Product award for its strawberries in Ready Cycle compostable packaging. The new packages include eight 1 lb clamshells per box, and 108 boxes per pallet. The labeling is both English and French, so it is Canadian compliant.

The new Wellness Shot Kit will be on display at booth #914 and in the New Products Showcase and are currently available for purchase.
