ZAANDAM, THE NETHERLANDS - There comes a time when great leaders may leave, but their impact on a company will always remain. Ahold Delhaize announced that its Chief Human Resources Officer Abbe Luersman has decided to leave the company as of April 30, 2021.

Abbe Luersman, Chief Human Resources, Ahold DelhaizeAfter stepping down from her current role, Abbe Luersman will be returning to the United States after 13 years in Europe, according to a press release released by the company.

While Ahold Delhaize did not announce who will be taking over as the new Chief Human Resources Officer, we can expect to hear soon as the company begins its search for a new leader to fill these big shoes.
