Allen Lund Company Promotes Jim McGuire and Nate Thomas
LA CAÑADA FLINTRIDGE, CA- It has been a great year for the Allen Lund Company as the team continues to grow and evolve across the U.S. The most recent of these moves by the company is the appointment of Jim McGuire Manager, ALC Charlotte to Vice President Sales and Branch Operations.
McGuire will be involved with working with other offices in mentoring/training as well as oversight in Business Development and Sales Protocols, according to a press release.
"18 years ago Allen Lund took a chance on me and gave me an opportunity to be a part of this great organization. I am very thankful for this new opportunity and look forward to the increased responsibilities in my new role," McGuire said.
Having opened the Charlotte office in May 1998, for the past 18 years McGuire has grown the office to be a top producer for the company. Before that, McGuire graduated from the University of North Carolina with a BA in Political Science.
"Hiring Jim to open the Charlotte office was one of the better moves of my career. He has been outstanding from the first day he joined ALC," said Allen Lund, President and CEO.
Nate Thomas will be taking over managing the Charlotte office following this transition with great growth plans ahead.
Thomas joined the company 14 years ago and has played a vital role in the success of the Charlotte office with an amazing work ethic, as well as great leadership skills and the drive to take this office to the next level. Thomas began his career as a transportation broker in 2002 and became Operations Manager in 2012 in the Charlotte office. Thomas attended Western Carolina University where he received a BA in Marketing. In 2016 he was promoted to Manager of the Charlotte office.
“I am excited to continue working with Nate as the new Manager of Charlotte!,” Thomas, who joined the Charlotte office in 2012 and has been promoted twice previously, said. "I am thankful Jim took a chance in hiring me 14 years ago. I believe his mentorship and my experience have prepared me well to take on this new challenge. We have a great experienced crew in Charlotte, and I am very appreciative of the opportunity.''
Congratulations to both Jim and Nate on these recent promotions, and good luck on the fruitful path ahead!
