Baloian Farms Provides Update on Current Production
FRESNO, CA - Today, we’re taking a metaphorical trip through the fields of Baloian Farms, as the grower recently provided a comprehensive update on its current production across multiple California and Mexico growing regions.
According to its latest release, the grower is currently harvesting flat sweet red onions out of Hollister, California, which are available in jumbo and medium sizes. Its beans are currently being harvested from Baja, Mexico, and have a nice color, snap, and shape.
The supplier also has green bell peppers coming out of the Bakersfield and Fresno regions of California. As the Bakersfield region winds down, Fresno operations have begun to maintain a continuous supply. Elongated red peppers are also being harvested in Bakersfield, with the company anticipating better supplies as the week progresses.
Baloian also shared some insight into its current squash production, revealing that hard squash is being produced in Bakersfield and Huron, California. According to the release, the provider is seeing excellent supplies on Spaghetti squash, with lighter volumes of Kabocha and Butternut. Stable supplies of zucchini are forecasted coming out of Fresno and Baja.
With the start of its transition fields, Baloian Farms also reports a stable supply of cucumbers coming out of Baja, Mexico. As it kicks off harvest for its transition fields in Baja, the grower is also preparing for fresh supplies of Jalapeño, Serrano, Tomatillo, and possibly Shishito peppers throughout the week.
