Braga Fresh Welcomes Eric Schwartz to Board of Directors; Rodney Braga Comments
SOLEDAD, CA - Leadership. Perspective. Industry expertise. These are but a few of the critical elements being amplified on Braga Fresh’s leadership team, as the provider has welcomed a new member to its Board of Directors. Joining this integral ring is long-time fresh produce industry contributor Eric Schwartz.
Schwartz currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Eckert Frozen Foods, having held prior roles such as CEO of United Vegetable Growers Cooperative, CEO of Patterson Vegetable Company, and President of Dole Worldwide Fresh Vegetables.
Another demonstration of his industry expertise, Schwartz previously served as Co-Chairman for the startup of the Leafy Greens Marketing Agreement (LGMA), according to a press release, in addition to being a past member of the Board of Directors of the former International Fresh-Cut Produce Association.
Chief Executive Officer Rodney Braga commented on Schwartz’s addition to the Board.
“Eric brings significant expertise in fresh-cut and retail food manufacturing to the Braga Fresh Board of Directors with his previous positions including a decade-long leadership position at Dole,” said Braga. “We value the experience and perspective he brings to our business.”
