ONTARIO, CANADA - Clēan Works is expanding its leadership team with an ag tech industry expert. Michele Visser brings over 30 years of experience to her new role as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, effective immediately.

“Working within the fresh produce supply chain has always been a passion of mine, along with developing solutions to elevate the fresh produce industry,” said Visser. “I’m excited about the revolutionary technology that Clēan Works has to offer, and I’m honored to work with our team to bring innovative solutions to our industry.”

Visser comes to Clēan Works from Apeel Sciences, most recently as Senior Director of Sales. Throughout her career, Visser has also held Vice President-level positions in Software, where she led various customer-facing teams in strategy, solution implementation design, and sales and business development.

As noted in the release, Visser will lead all sales and marketing activity for Clēan Works to drive global activation and growth and report directly to Clēan Works President Mark VanderVeen.

“Michele has a unique experience in produce industry technology, having helped develop solutions to integrate the technology into customer operations—and managing those customers after implementation to ensure successful execution and satisfaction,” said VanderVeen. “Her end-to-end perspective and deep knowledge of bringing customers on board make her a tremendous addition to our team.”
