D’Arrigo California Launches Newly Redesigned Andy Boy® Website
SALINAS, CA - 2021 has just begun, and what better way to step into the new year than with a change to your look? Embracing the ever-so-popular “new year, new me” mindset, D’Arrigo California has just launched its newly redesigned Andy Boy® website.
“We are thrilled to debut the redesign of our website to underscore the expansiveness of our Andy Boy products, services, and corporate responsibility as a third-generation farming family company. You can learn more about how the company was started by two immigrant Italian brothers in 1923 and get to know Andy D’Arrigo—currently 96 years old—who is the iconic little boy on the produce logo known as ‘Andy Boy’ that was trademarked in 1927,” stated Claudia Pizarro-Villalobos, Marketing and Communications.
The new site features a streamlined, modern design that allows consumers to easily access essential Andy Boy produce information, a press release revealed. The improved functionality of its new website is one component of the company’s active shift in marketing strategies to focus more on digital tools to connect with consumers.
“The time was right for a website redesign, as it captures the daily functions of many departments—production, harvesting, post-harvest, seed research and development, etc.—into one place and translated into Spanish and French, which allows each visitor to have the same experience and access to our robust produce history, information, and educational videos,” Pizarro-Villalobos explained.
The new and improved website offers a large library of resources, available in English, Spanish, and French, to educate customers and consumers. Among these features are creative and versatile new recipes and cooking videos, printable sheets with health facts for Andy Boy products, videos on production and harvesting, and photo and video segments that showcase the beautiful Andy Boy fields.
To drive traffic to the newly-developed website, the company will optimize the use of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest.
“We will continue to share valuable, educational, and actionable content on our Andy Boy social media platforms. Our posting strategies will be ample in order to drive visitors to our website and from there augment our opportunities to educate and increase brand awareness,” said Morgan Tinari, Digital and Social Media.
