Flagship Food Group Acquires Yucatan Foods; Stephen Hillion, Rob Holland, and Sam Carson Comment



DENVER, CO - Guess what provider is looking to dip into an advantageous sales increase through a recent portfolio expansion? The answer is Flagship Food Group, which has recently acquired Yucatan Foods in a move to expand its portfolio with the addition of guacamole and dips.

Yucatan manufactures and markets fresh guacamole and salsa under the Yucatan and Cabo Fresh brands, which are sold nationwide and throughout Canada. With this recent transaction, Yucatan joins a family of brands that includes 505 Southwestern (505SW), La Tortilla Factory, Lilly B’s, and more.

Flagship operates manufacturing and distribution facilities in Colorado, Kansas, California, New Mexico, and Mexico.

According to a press release, this acquisition not only adds to the better-for-you offerings within Flagship’s portfolio but also emphasizes its focus on vertical integration with the addition of 97,000 square feet of manufacturing space in Silao, Mexico.
