Freshmade Sweeps AAF ADDY Awards With Content for Frieda’s
DEERFIELD BEACH, FL - The American Advertising Federation’s ADDY Awards is a long-standing creative competition celebrating excellence in design and advertising. So, when we found out Frieda’s Specialty Produce had a couple of packaging designs that took home awards, us here at ANUK were beyond thrilled! Freshmade, the South Florida design agency behind the creative branding, recently received multiple Golds and Best in Show awards for its take on its fresh produce industry partners' packaging.
“We are continuously pushing to find the most relevant point of intersection between disruption and relevance for our clients,” said David Edmundson, Founding Partner and Creative Director at Freshmade. “Produce is an emerging category for brand recognition, and there is so much potential for consumer-facing content. These wins prove that thoughtful, engaging creative resonates with a broader audience.”
According to a press release, Freshmade was awarded Best in Show for a three-part micro-animation series highlighting Frieda’s flagship products. The branding company also received awards for The Villages Grown rainbow wraps recipe video, Frieda’s purple sweet potato pie and frittata recipe videos, and a Frieda’s hatch chile animation. Overarchingly, the produce-based content from Freshmade won seven out of eight awards in the social media category.
In the packaging category, Freshmade took a gold ADDY for the Frieda’s Inspiration Box as well.
“We love working in the produce category—our clients are savvy marketers who understand the importance of strategic design. We are also very proud of our in-house team for their diligence and creativity. Everyone involved in these ADDYs awards deserve to be celebrated,” added Edmundson.
