General Produce Announces New Website Launch; Jeff Sacchini and Linda Luka Discuss
SACRAMENTO, CA - A new look has been adopted by General Produce, and now the wholesale distributor is bringing its strategic rebranding efforts full circle with the launch of its new website. The new site features the refreshed logo and iconography to reflect the company’s identity, which also led the company to revamp its vehicle graphics back in early March.
“Early conversations with MJR Creative Group addressed the fact that we wanted a ‘customer-centric’ site that was dynamic, visually exciting, and very user friendly,” noted Jeff Sacchini, Chief Executive Officer. “We accomplished that and much, much more. The scrolling pages, carousels, slideshows, and videos capture our new facility, products, and services. We have a great story to tell our customers and potential partners. Our new website does that with sophistication and respect for our family history. We’re ready to meet customer expectations with friendly service and growth in mind.”
The website was designed in partnership with MJR Creative Group out of Fresno, California, an award-winning firm known for high-caliber food and beverage industry design work.
According to a press release, the new site was developed with mobile access in mind, as 80 percent of website access is done first through a mobile device.
“Website creation is a daunting project, anxiety-filled, no matter who is at the helm. The professional relationship and experience we had working with Mike Rolph and the team at MJR Creative Group made the process a profound pleasure,” added Linda Luka, Director of Marketing and Communications. “At the onset, we had a clear path to where we were headed. MJR guided us through every aspect of site creation, from exploring company identity and content development to shaping the look and feel of the site. We were in expert hands throughout the entire process.”
The new look and website follow continued growth for the wholesale distributor, as it recently celebrated the grand opening of a new facility in Sacramento, California.
