As we make our way through the start of 2023, I reached out to our friends at D’Arrigo New York for a few words of advice on how best to take advantage of today’s resources. “Pay attention to the current weather patterns and keep in close contact with your salesperson. They will always be the most knowledgeable on the quality and availability of the product,” she shares. “Also, understanding which specific items have high consumer demand will be essential in order to buy the most efficiently.”

Gianna adds that footing in 2023 is key, and being able to see all the way from the farm to the plate is mandatory.

“Keep in mind that consumers are much more price-conscious than ever before, and certain high-value items may not be as popular as they were previously,” she says. “Attention to shifting behaviors will keep customers ahead of the game and on top of the competition.”

In other words, as we all know, the only constant in life is change—and those who adapt will find themselves leading the pack.
