Jessica Keller Named First Vice President of Global Relations for IFPA; Miriam Wolk Comments
WASHINGTON, DC - It’s always nice when life lines things up just right. Here is one example of education, experience, and timing merging together into one path for Jessica Keller and the International Fresh Produce Association. Keller joins IFPA as Vice President of Global Industry Relations, the first to serve in this role, which was created to align with IFPA’s commitment to grow member value globally.
“I’m thrilled to be joining IFPA and feel deeply aligned with the association’s mission and purpose which is increasing the consumption of fresh produce and flowers globally,” Keller said. “Our team of global representatives and I will be focused on continuing to have a positive impact and strong growth within our global produce and floral markets.”
Keller will lead the implementation of the IFPA’s global portfolio, support and direct the association’s global representatives, country councils, and committees.
Keller previously spent 16 years at Whole Foods Market as the Regional Vice President of the Southwest Region. There, she mentored the regional leadership team and created a culture of collaboration. A release went on to mention how Keller oversaw the successful launch of new stores, driving over $1B annual sales in her region. Most recently, Keller served as Chief Operating Officer at Food Hall Company where she transformed the business through strategic reorganization.
“Jessica brings a deep knowledge of the global produce and floral supply chain along with years of experience building relationships with global companies,” said Miriam Wolk, Chief Membership Officer. “She has had an incredibly successful career that has been defined by her leadership, vision, and strategic acumen. She will be a fantastic resource and advocate for our global membership, and I look forward to the impact she will have on IFPA, members and volunteers, and the industry as whole.”
Keller is fluent in English, Spanish, and has proficiency in Portuguese. These language skills will not only allow her to navigate complex global operations and sourcing, but will also contribute to her ability to communicate IFPA’s value across the global supply chain.
Keller holds a bachelor's degree in Business with a minor in Latin American Studies.
Cheers to Jessica Keller on this perfectly suited new position!
