Organic Produce Network's Matt Seeley Teases Details of the Upcoming Organic Grower Summit
MONTEREY, CA - From November 29–30 in Monterey, California, members of the industry will descend upon the 2023 Organic Grower Summit (OGS). Presented by the Organic Produce Network (OPN) and Western Growers, the annual event promises to bring exclusive insights and one-of-a-kind networking opportunities.
“For OGS 2023, our educational programming is focused on the hot-button issues and subjects facing our industry. The new Strengthening Organic Enforcement (SOE) rule that goes into effect in March 2024 is front and center,” Matt Seeley, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of OPN, told me. “Issues related to ag technology and AI are very relevant for all OGS attendees—and of course, honoring Rod Braga as the Grower of the Year will be a highlight. The hard work Rod and his family have done in building his company’s organic program is so worthy of recognition and celebration.”
According to Matt, the sold-out OGS exhibition floor will feature a wide variety of supply chain and service provider partners offering the latest products and services for growers. Anything from the latest in biopesticides to ag technology to AI will be available for growers.
“We anticipate between 600-700 members of the organic fresh produce grower and production community seeking new information on the subjects and issues facing the industry. From a highly engaging and informative educational program to a sold-out trade show floor, OGS attendees will come away with valuable insight and information to take back home and share with their respective teams,” Matt added.
