VALENCIA, CA - With sustainability often in the crosshairs when it comes to booth displays and grabbing attention, I’m still recovering from the excitement of Sunkist Growers’ Global Produce & Floral Show booth in Atlanta, Georgia, that was—from each seat to wall—completely recyclable. Needless to say, I’m excited to see what the innovative company has in store for 2025, not the least of which is booth #718 at the Southeast Produce Council's Southern Exposure event, March 6–8 in Orlando, Florida.

“Southern Exposure attendees will get to experience our impressive multi-varietal Citrus Tower, crafted to captivate shopper attention and retailers to easily highlight the versatility of our citrus products in the produce aisles,” Cassie Howard, Senior Director of Category Management and Marketing, shared with me. “With innovative merchandising solutions, you will discover our latest merchandising offerings, including eye-catching header cards and the vibrant ‘Zesty Lemon’ display.”

Among innovations at the booth will be new organic specialty orange packaging, which Cassie said was introduced to enhance Organic Cara Cara, Blood, and Valencia orange offerings.

“By incorporating this new packaging into their product lineup, retailers can attract health-conscious consumers seeking high-quality organic citrus options. The new giro packaging caters to the increasing demand for organic citrus, providing consumers with a fresh and appealing presentation,” Cassie explained.

Sunkist is creating a branded experience that helps mandarins stand out in the marketplace. When kids and parents recognize Cali Mandarins, they’ll return for more!” Cassie assured.

Not only does Meet Cali put a fun, friendly name to Mandarins to usher them in as a go-to snack for busy families, it is all about making citrus more relatable so kids can ask for Cali Mandarins by name.
