Westside Produce and Classic Fruit Name Tara Monreal as New Marketing Director; Garrett Patricio and Paul Raggio Comment
FIREBAUGH, CA - We just got word of the newest Marketing Director stepping in to drive program growth for a dynamic alliance. After Westside Produce and Classic Fruit Company announced a strategic partnership to bolster their year-round melon offerings, the industry force has tapped Tara Monreal to lead its branding and marketing efforts as Marketing Director.
“It’s vital we continue building the alliance’s brand and communicate it to customers in order to express how being able to provide an uninterrupted supply of fresh melons to them all year long,” commented Monreal. “This alliance is a pioneer in the melon industry, and I am thrilled to help tell that story and build those relationships with our partners.”
Monreal’s depth of marketing and communications experience makes her an ideal fit for the newly created role. As Marketing Director, she will take the lead on all marketing activities including branding and positioning, and providing support to the sales team in business development and customer service, a press release explained.
Monreal’s most recent role was with The Walt Disney Company, where she worked for their International Communications segment with a background in market research.

Together, Westside Produce and Classic Fruit look forward to continued growth and success after forging a strategic alliance earlier this year with the goal of providing melons to customers 52 weeks a year.
