LA CAÑADA FLINTRIDGE, CA - Recently, Allen Lund Company (ALC) Executive Vice President Kenny Lund was among the five members honored by Archbishop José H. Gomez during the 2022 Cardinal’s Award dinner. The award recognizes members of the Los Angeles Catholic community for their years of service to both the Church and the community.

“This award acknowledges the tradition of giving by my family and the Allen Lund Company,” commented Lund. “I will accept it on behalf of all the great people in my life who constantly reach out to improve our community and our church. I am blessed.”

Lund is recognized for his work at the Saint Edward Retreat Center, according to a press release, which his family has come to embrace ownership of over the last two years.

The calming, 215-acre spot is located some 7,000 feet up in the San Gabriel Mountains and will be shared with thousands of soul-searching Catholics for years to come.

“When I first set foot on the place, I saw something wonderful about it—the Holy Spirit runs strong here,” said Lund about the tranquil location.

The Cardinal’s Awards dinner to celebrate “extraordinary Catholics” was held on Saturday, February 26, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
