Brighter Bites Introduces 11th Location in Phoenix, Arizona; Diane Corley and Laura Brill Share



PHOENIX, AZ - Increased fresh produce access is hitting the Grand Canyon State thanks to an integral industry force. Brighter Bites is once again expanding its impressive program, bolstering its national presence with the launch of its 11th location in Phoenix, Arizona.

Through this expansion, the organization will serve six schools within Cartwright School District and Alhambra Unified School District, directly impacting close to 900 families and providing approximately 288,000 pounds of fresh produce to its participants.

Brighter Bites is bolstering its national presence with the launch of its 11th location in Phoenix, Arizona

The first Phoenix distribution began on October 16 and will continue each week through the end of May. Further broadening its reach, Brighter Bites plans to expand into more schools within the Cartwright and Alhambra school districts throughout the 2024–2025 school year.

Some of the key allies who have made the Phoenix location possible include founding partners MJI Family Investments, JV Smith, Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust, and Burton Family Foundation, as well as the locally based St. Mary's Food Bank.
