Cece's Veggie Co. Sells its Austin, Texas, Food Plant to Fresh Texas
AUSTIN, TX - Known for its production of veggie-based product lines, Cece’s Veggie Co. has announced that it has sold its Austin, Texas, manufacturing plant to Fresh Texas, a San Antonio-based supplier of fresh packaged produce and herbs, that will use the new facility to expand its production capacity.
The plant stands at 40,000 square feet and was used to produce Cece’s range of product lines. According to an article from Statesman, the facility will continue to produce Cece’s lineup of offerings as part of the agreement come to by both parties.
In addition to continuing production of Cece’s lines, Fresh Texas will also retain the approximately 90 employees who worked for the company before the sale, with plans to add more jobs as manufacturing increases.
