ISSAQUAH, WA - It’s another successful year in the books for Costco Wholesale Corporation as it unveiled its 17-week fourth quarter and 53-week fiscal year results for the period ending September 3, 2023.

The retailer reported that net sales for the 17-week fourth quarter were $77.43 billion. That equates to a 9.4 percent increase from $70.76 billion in the 16-week fourth quarter last year, a release explained.

For the 53-week fiscal year, Costco recorded $237.71 billion in net sales, a 6.7 percent rise from $222.73 in the 52-week fiscal year of 2022.
Other highlights include:

• United States comparable sales for the fourth quarter were 0.2 percent and 3 percent for the fiscal year
• Canada comparable sales were 1.8 percent for the fourth quarter and 1.7 percent for the fiscal year
• Total company comparable sales were 1.1 percent for the 17-week fourth quarter and 3 percent for the 53-week fiscal year
