CORAL GABLES, FL - Halloween is arguably the best time of the year. Candy for dinner? YES. With Ciders all around? ABSOLUTELY. While dressed like Sailor Moon? IS THERE ANY OTHER WAY?! Del Monte Fresh Produce is celebrating the holiday by launching its Go Bananas for a Healthy Halloween promotion. The month-long campaign gives consumers the opportunity to win Del Monte® banana costumes, download coupons, and access live Halloween celebrations in Chicago, Houston, and Coral Gables. The only thing scarier than horror films at Halloween is a trip to the dentist after trick-or-treating, so the promotion comes just in time to help us navigate such difficult snacking decisions by promoting a fun-filled and healthy Halloween with fruit. The promotion runs from October 1st-31st, and it further establishes the company’s commitment to health and wellbeing through wholesome, nutritious products.

Look no further for your Halloween garb—the company’s social media campaign will invite people to share healthy Halloween tips and tricks for a chance to win Del Monte banana costumes. According to a press release, videos of banana-fans getting ready to celebrate, posts showcasing health and wellness, and invitations to live celebrations (in-person or via Instagram) will all be part of the campaign.
The Halloween celebrations will take place on Saturday, October 27th. Fun-filled fitness sessions will be held by brand ambassadors dressed in their finest banana get-ups, and participants will enjoy music with product and costume giveaways.
