Kroger Expands Delivery Network With New Facilities in Dallas, Texas, and Louisville, Kentucky; Bill Bennett Comments

DALLAS, TX & LOUISVILLE, KY - As Kroger seeks to improve its shopper experience and bolster its delivery service, what's the latest move in its successful growth blueprint? You guessed it, another expansion of its fulfillment network. Most recently, the grocer revealed the opening of a new customer fulfillment center (CFC) in Dallas, Texas, and a new spoke facility in Louisville, Kentucky.

The new 350,000-square-foot CFC is powered by the Ocado Group and will leverage advanced robotics technology and creative solutions to redefine the customer experience for customers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, a press release stated.

The grocer also pulled back the curtain on a 50,000-square-foot spoke facility, which will collaborate with Kroger's CFC in Monroe, Ohio, and will serve as a last-mile cross-dock location to expand Kroger Delivery's ability to serve more customers in the Greater Louisville region.
