Murcotts and now I can finally say they’ve arrived! Now through April, buyers can stock up on the LGS Specialty Sales’ clementines that get peoples’ citrus tongues wagging.

Murcotts,” said Luke Sears, President and Founder. “As the largest importer of clementines in the U.S., supplying W. Murcotts from Morocco has allowed us to keep up with the ever-growing demand for easy-peeler clementines.”

In addition to their return, the company noted that it is unveiling new pink packaging for the Darling Clementine line to use around the various holidays coming up, like Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Breast Cancer Awareness month. They’re available in 2, 3, and 5 lb packages.

One of the reason W. Murcotts are so popular is because they’re tasty as all heck. For over 10 years, LGS has been bringing these to market. The company reports a 15 percent increase in volume this season, and expects fruit to peak at medium to large sizes, a press release noted.
