LGS Specialty Sales' Lucio Rainelli Talks Moroccan W. Murcotts Supplies
NEW ROCHELLE, NY - The time is right for great-tasting Moroccan citrus thanks to LGS Specialty Sales. As we head into peak supply, I got in touch with Lucio Rainelli, the Director of Sales for LGS, on how retailers can take advantage of this opportunity.
“The first arrivals of our Moroccan W. Murcotts are being shipped to our customers in the U.S., and we are expecting a steady supply through the end of the season,” Lucio comments. “The peak supply of this season will occur now through March.”
LGS Sales is one of the largest importers of Moroccan Mandarins in North America. Shoppers will be met with excellent-quality Mandarins in stores over the next few months, and Lucio notes that it will be a great time to promote during this window.
“We are seeing great color and amazing taste in our incoming shipment,” Lucio shares. “The start to the season was delayed a bit, but we are expecting great promotional opportunities for our partners.”
