Mann Packing Announces New Information Technology Hires
SALINAS, CA – Mann Packing is making moves to bolster its information technology team. The company has announced the hiring of Sylvia Le and Ben Marrow to the roles of Business Applications Manager and Desktop Support Technician, respectively.
“We are very excited to welcome Sylvia and Ben to the Mann’s team,” said Tom Langell, Director of IT. “Sylvia’s wealth of knowledge in Mann’s business practices has already made her a key addition, and Ben has fit right in with our philosophy of providing exceptional service; it is very fortunate that we were able to find candidates of this caliber to fill these roles. I’m confident that they will both play key parts in providing and implementing innovative solutions for our customers and staff.”
According to a press release, Le will join Mann’s in the newly-created role of Business Application Manager, leading a team of analysts with the goal of developing applications that support the company’s goals. Le has previously been a member of the Mann Packing team from 2011 to 2014, and worked with the company more recently in a consulting capacity. She brings more than 17 years of experience to the job and has supported JD Edwards business projects in her last two positions.
Marrow joins the company’s IT team from Liberty Technical Solutions where he worked as a technician since 2011. In his capacity as Desktop Support Technician, Marrow will provide technical support and troubleshooting services to end-users for both computer hardware and software. Marrow earned his B.S. in Information Technology Service Management from Missouri State University.
These hires are just the latest in a series of expansive moves by the produce provider. The company has been in the news recently, introducing new product offerings and breaking ground on a new facility in recent months.
