“The overall citrus industry is expecting the yield for this coming season to be down about 10 to 20 percent versus last season, but Kings River volume is expected to be up 52 percent versus last year with our recent expansions,” Michelle Alo, Director of Marketing, shares with me, adding that Kings River’s volume was up 35 percent over the previous year, and maxed out the capacity of its legacy facility. “We are excited for the opportunity to expand branded and private label partnerships with domestic, export, and foodservice partners this year now that we have the increased volume and capacity.”

“Even with the addition of the other facilities, trucks will still only have one pick-up location for each load, reducing the complexity for our partners, and continuing the focus and commitment to service,” Michelle adds.

“We have a wide range of packaging options from volume fill cases to bagged items in Combo, Giro, and Net styles. We also have display case units as well as small and large footprint high-graphic display bins,” Michelle details.
