Naturipe Expands Reach to Frozen Aisles; Jason Bellan Details
SALINAS, CA - Believe it or not, the holidays are just around the corner, and to give buyers and consumers a hand this season, Naturipe is extending its reach to the frozen aisle. Rolling out a new line of frozen fruit offerings, the berry maven will debut the products in select retailers throughout the Mid- and Northeast starting October 17.
“We’re thrilled to introduce our new line of top-quality frozen products," said Jason Bellan, Vice President and General Manager of Naturipe Foods. “Our new eye-catching packaging leverages the 105-year heritage of the Naturipe Brand and was consumer-tested to stand out on the shelf with its vibrant and colorful berry imagery.”
Starting in mid-October, retailers can share Naturipe-branded bags of frozen blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, table grapes, and cherries, as well as organic blueberries and strawberries, with their shoppers. According to a press release, there will also be new blends like berry mix, very cherry berry, and mango berry, which will serve as excellent bases for smoothies, desserts, and healthy snacks.
All of the offerings contain no preservatives and come ready to eat. Additionally, the frozen packages are easy to merchandise as they are gusseted, free-standing poly bags that keep the product upright in retailers’ display freezers. They also come in different sizes, ranging from 10 oz to 3 lbs, to meet a wide array of consumer demands.
As part of the launch, Naturipe is making popular recipes available for shoppers to spark inspiration, giving retailers an even greater chance to create attention-grabbing displays and up sales.
