Westfalia Fruit Names Danielle Willems as New Group Communications Executive; Alk Brand Discusses
LONDON, U.K. - Experience is truly priceless in this industry. As it continues to pursue expansion in the fresh produce sector, The Westfalia Fruit Group has made a move to add over 15 years of valuable communications expertise to its leadership ring, naming Danielle Willems as its new Group Communications Executive.
Willems steps into the new position on October 1, and brings over 15 years of experience in corporate and business communications, transformation, and crisis management to the role. She wields expertise between internal and external communications, having built a strong communications career primarily within large-scale international businesses in the chemical and agricultural sectors.
Willems currently leads Corporate Communications for the EME Animal Nutrition business for Cargill, according to a press release.
Prior to her work at Cargill, Willems had a nearly ten-year tenure with Saudi-owned and headquartered chemical company Sabic, where she drove communications for several global projects including the merger of two of the largest business units globally, acting as a strategic advisor to the senior management and Board.
