That was until Amazon Fresh revolutionized the shopping experience with its Just Walk Out Shopping tech, which allows consumers to skip the checkout line and pay for their items digitally with no effort. The latest market to see this innovative technology is North Riverside, Illinois, where the retail titan has opened its newest Amazon Fresh store.

The new North Riverside store is the eighth Amazon Fresh location in the state of Illinois and stands at approximately 40,000 square feet, according to a recent release from the company.

The store’s product assortment will include a wide variety of national brands, as well as high-quality produce, meat, and seafood. The new Amazon Fresh location will also offer 365 by Whole Foods Market organics, in addition to other Amazon-exclusive brands like Aplenty, Cursive, and Fresh, including the grocer’s newly release Fresh Plant-Based products. Local brands, regional favorites, and a large selection of prepared foods made fresh in-store will also elevate the retailer’s grocery experience.

With this expansion, Amazon will be supporting the community of North Riverside by creating hundreds of high-quality jobs in the region.
