Ayesha Curry Launches New Meal Kits at Whole Foods
SAN MATEO, CA - As a famous chef, restaurateur, television host, and New York Times Bestselling author, Ayesha Curry has her fingers in a lot of pies, but she’s not done yet! The renaissance woman has recently teamed up with Whole Foods Market to launch a new line of fresh-focused meal kits under her lifestyle brand Homemade, according to Yahoo! Finance. Each meal kit features recipes created by Curry, so consumers can bring a taste of her kitchen into their own homes.
“As a devout Whole Foods Market shopper, I’m thrilled to be partnering with Whole Foods Market and Local Crate to launch my new line of premium meal kits,” Curry commented. “I’m passionate about helping families get back around the dinner table and developed my meal kits for cooks of all skill levels to execute a delicious weeknight meal the whole family will love.”
The meal kits will feature the following recipes:
- Pomegranate Chimichurri Steak with Spiced-Rubbed Parsnips and Carrots
- Warm Vegetable and Chickpea Coconut Curry Bowls with Basmati Rice
- Honey-Lime Chicken Breasts with Wasabi Mashed Potatoes and Sauteed Garlic Kale
- Cheesy Baked Penne Primavera with Ricotta, Parmesan, and Mozzarella
The meal kits will contain fresh, premium, local ingredients provided by Local Crate, a leading supplier of premium meal kits.
“Local Crate works with local farmers and local makers to create inspired meal kits with the freshest ingredients,” said Frank Jackman, Local Crate’s Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer. “Working with Ayesha and her vision for reigniting the magic of a home-cooked meal, one home at a time, has inspired a new way to deliver the best of local.”
The new line is being tested at only two Whole Foods locations in Oakland, and Cupertino, CA, so excuse me folks, I have a road trip to plan.
