Bay Baby Produce Spotlights Tyann Schlimmer's Success; Michele Youngquist Details
MOUNT VERNON, WA - Milestones are always an accomplishment. Ten years at the same workplace, however, is an amazing feat. Bay Baby Produce’s (BBP) Tyann Schlimmer has marked her decade with the pumpkin grower. As the company said, she has literally seen and done it all with Bay Baby!
Growing up in the Skagit Valley in Washington State, Schlimmer’s career focus has always been in farming and agriculture. She started out on her parent’s farm working with strawberries and raspberries and moved into selling cauliflower. In college, she majored in Mechanical Engineering and then put her skills to work right away in agricultural processing. It has always been destined for Schlimmer to continue the family legacy.
You may know and recognize Schlimmer from one of the many hats she has worn with Bay Baby Produce: from logistics to managing consumables and working directly with buying partners, Schlimmer is always up for a new challenge and loves to grow her knowledge base.
As noted in the release, her true talent is solving issues that come up throughout the year: her vision and attention to detail, while pulling from experiences and her wonderful engineering brain, have added to the growth and strength of the Bay Baby team.
“Tyann has been instrumental in the growth and innovation of Bay Baby Produce,” stated President and Chief Executive Officer Michele Youngquist. “She has a great rapport with our retail partners and a get-it-done attitude.”
Bay Baby has been a leader in painted pumpkins for the last 30 years, bringing consistent, high-quality, and innovative designs to customers that continuously create joy in the pumpkin world. With Schlimmer on board, the team has risen up to meet various challenges and hurdles.
“Working with Tyann over the past year and a half has been inspiring. She is the yin to my yang,” Lindsey Lance, Sales and Marketing, added. “Being on the BBP team with Tyann has been great! I love seeing how her brain works while problem-solving.”
