California Fresh Fruit Association Thanks Senator Dianne Feinstein for Leadership Service; Ian LeMay Shares
FRESNO, CA - Over the course of three decades, Senator Dianne Feinstein has played a key role in not only national and California politics but in the produce industry as well. After 30 years in the Senate, making her the longest-serving female Senator, she will finish her last term, and the California Fresh Fruit Association (CFFA) shared its thanks for her contributions.
“On behalf of the California Fresh Fruit Association membership, we are grateful to Senator Feinstein for her support of the fresh fruit industry throughout her career in public service. She has worked tirelessly on behalf of California agriculture in her efforts to fix our broken water and labor systems. The Senator’s office has always been open to engaging with CFFA members to help address specific issues the industry is facing,” said Ian LeMay, President.
Throughout her career, Senator Feinstein has been a dedicated partner to California’s agriculture industry, a release stated. As she finishes out her term, CFFA looks forward to working with the distinguished leader and congratulates her on a successful career.
“On a personal note, I want to acknowledge and express my appreciation for how diligent Senator Feinstein has always been,” added LeMay. “She gives great attention to detail, always ready with her yellow notepad and sharpened pencil. Thank you, Senator, for all of the work you have done and continue to do. Your leadership will be missed.”
