SALINAS, CA - From expanded services to hundreds of fresh veg offerings, Church Brothers Farms harnesses its experience in the fresh industry to serve as a powerful ally for its retail and foodservice partners. As the company seeks to highlight its expansive abilities with a brand-new campaign, I recently gained some exclusive insights from Angelic Meza, Marketing Manager.

What inspired Church Brothers Farms’ newest campaign? What do you hope to achieve through this initiative?

Angelic Meza, Marketing Manager, Church Brothers Farms

“For 25 years, we’ve been customers’ trusted one-stop shop. This campaign originated when our CEO, Brian Church, and COO Jeff Church, were hearing from customers, ‘I didn’t know you did that’ or ‘I didn’t know you offered those items.’

Fast-forward to upper management, marketing, and sales sitting in a room brainstorming how to remind customers of everything we do. Our goal with “Your One-Stop Shop Just Got Better” is to communicate the breadth of our offerings while highlighting how we’re continuing to improve. This campaign isn’t just about showcasing our expanded services; it’s also a reminder that we offer hundreds of SKUs from retail to foodservice.

We recently attended an event where we talked with customers about our current and new capabilities, and you could see their eyes widen and hear the gasps in the room. We are more than just a grower/shipper/processor. We’ve been a one-stop shop all along.”

What elements comprise this new campaign?

“We have a brand-new video dedicated to this campaign, along with a refreshed website page. We plan to promote this campaign through social media, ads, and at trade shows over the next few months.”

How has Church Brothers Farms worked to expand its service offerings recently, further elevating its status as a one-stop shop?

“In 2023, we secured 18 acres of warehouse and shipping space in Salinas, California. Since then, we’ve been focused on upgrading and improving the properties, and they’re now ready to go. In addition to shipping, we also offer cross-docking services, allowing customers to pick up items we don’t carry. Instead of making multiple stops to pick up different items, our services allow customers to pick up everything they need in one place. This means fewer stops, which results in cost savings from a transportation and labor perspective.

From a product perspective, we like to remind customers of the 3 C’s: keep it cold, keep it clean, and keep it cold (yes, cold is that important!). Multiple stops mean opening the truck door multiple times, which causes temperature fluctuations. Fewer cold chain disruptions equal faster, fresher product.

As we continue to grow, we have big plans for 2025. We can’t say just yet, but stay tuned!”

With more growth in store this year, continue to learn about this one-stop shop with updates from AndNowUKnow.
