JACKSONVILLE, FL - Organic grocery chains are popping up like crazy down South. As more and more consumers clamor for healthy options, retailers like Publix, Trader Joe’s, and Sprouts are answering the organic siren call. The latest to throw its hat into the organic expansion ring is Earth Fare, who recently announced its latest store in St. Johns County, Florida.

“St. Johns County is one of the fastest growing counties in the country, and Earth Fare is proud to provide the area with more convenient access to clean, healthy foods,” said Frank Scorpiniti, President and CEO, in a news release.

Shoppers will be treated to a variety of amenities, including prepared foods such as a salad bar, a hot food bar, a pizza station, sandwich counter, and packaged meals-on-the-go. The store will feature Earth Fare’s Heirloom Juice Bar in addition to groceries. The juice bar sells made-to-order juice and smoothies, as well as coffee.

There is currently no opening date known.
