International Fresh Produce Association Shares More Ways to Connect Beyond the Women’s Fresh Perspectives Conference; Brenda Necic and Kristin Wells Detail

WASHINGTON, DC & NEWARK, DE - Women make the world go ’round. Our industry is gearing up to celebrate and spotlight the impact of women in fresh produce at the International Fresh Produce Association’s (IFPA) annual Women’s Fresh Perspectives (WFP) Conference. While the conference has officially sold out, the organization is reminding attendees that there are still many opportunities to support and participate in Women’s Fresh Perspective Portfolio experiences this year.
Brenda Necic, Key Account Manager, Pure Flavor® and Co-Chair, Women's Fresh Perspectives Committee“The draw of the Women’s Fresh Perspectives Conference is not just the personal and professional development, but the opportunity to connect with women across the entire produce and floral industry,” said Brenda Necic, Key Account Manager at Pure Flavor® and Co-Chair of the Women’s Fresh Perspectives Committee. “The broader our networks, the wider our source of ideas, solutions, and support. This event is a keystone for the industry’s work to create a more diverse and inclusive industry where everyone feels they belong.”
This year’s Women’s Fresh Perspectives Conference will be held in Orlando, Florida, from April 16–18. As the organization noted in a release, the conference is just one way members of the industry can participate and engage with the WFP portfolio, which is central to IFPA’s DEI strategy.
