Ippolito International's Dan Canales Talks Upcoming Foodservice Conference, Differentiation, and More
SALINAS, CA - Foodservice operators looking for the crème de la crème need look no further than the International Fresh Produce Association’s (IFPA) Foodservice Conference at the end of this week. In attendance will be companies like Ippolito International, which has a host of products on deck. I spoke with Dan Canales to learn more.
“We will showcase our ever-expanding value-added product line. Some of the latest additions to the line include chopped lettuces, coleslaws, and Iceberg- and Romaine-based blends,” the Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Processing told me.
Ippolito International will also be hosting several field and facility tours, allowing for its customers to become better acquainted with the way it runs its operations.
“We’re looking forward to time spent with customers,” Dan shared. “We enjoy getting a deeper understanding of what they’re seeing in the foodservice space. During the pandemic, the category moved rapidly, and we challenged ourselves to keep up! Now, things are a bit more settled, but we still want to maintain that responsive and receptive stance, so our customers continue to be our biggest teachers.”
Dan noted that he looks forward to the show’s presentations and the spontaneous and unplanned interactions that stem from every industry get-together.
Most importantly, he can’t wait to highlight Ippolito’s attention to its customers, and how being a responsive supply-side partner makes Ippolito a key player.
Be sure to stop by booth #813 to see the team and learn all about what’s new!
