LE GRAND, CA - As Live Oak Farms continues to grow, so too does its need for top-notch personnel. The family-owned and operated company recently added Bonny (Choate) Iten to its Sales staff.

"I'm excited to be once again a part of a grower, packer, [and] shipper. Again, [I will be] working with peppers, a commodity in which I am experienced and familiar. Overall, I am very pleased to become a part of the Live Oak team," said Iten when asked about her new role.

According to a press release, she will be working out of Live Oak’s home location in Le Grand, California, leading the company’s Business Development efforts throughout the bell pepper category.

Her umbrella of responsibilities will cover conventional bell pepper sales for the company, and the organic bell pepper program Live Oak started in 2019.

Iten has ten years of experience in the agriculture sales industry. With her background in agriculture and specifically the organic segment, Bonny will be a welcomed asset and further strengthen the Live Oak Farms sales team, as Ed Beckman, Chief Operating Officer, echoes.

"As Live Oak continues to expand our bell and hot pepper program, we sought out a dynamic, forward-looking individual that can continue our transition from a seasonal grower/shipper to a supplier that can meet the needs of a growing customer base throughout the year. We're excited to grow our organic program that's been well received," remarked Beckman.
