Local Bounti Expands Grab & Go Salad Kit Line With Newest Recipes; Brian Cook Comments
HAMILTON, MT - There’s nothing like a crisp, cool salad on a warm summer day, and consumers will have more options this season as Local Bounti has expanded its Grab & Go Salad Kit line. Beginning this month, shoppers in the Pacific Northwest will have access to the grower’s Artisanal Chicken Caesar and Memphis Style BBQ Chicken Salad kits, each featuring premium, antibiotic-free white meat chicken.
"Our Grab & Go Salad Kit line has been well received by consumers, and we are thrilled to be expanding the line with the addition of two new varieties that feature premium, antibiotic-free white meat chicken," said Local Bounti President Brian Cook. "We doubled down on the incredible consumer demand for our existing Grab & Go Salad Kits by combining the same state-of-the-art growing techniques with chef-inspired flavors to offer two brand new and innovative products. We believe our Artisanal Chicken Caesar and Memphis Style BBQ Chicken Salad Kits will be a hit with consumers who are looking for fresh and convenient meal options that are also a good source of protein."
Local Bounti’s new Artisanal Chicken Caesar Salad features Northwest, greenhouse-grown Romaine and tender, antibiotic-free white meat chicken, Parmesan cheese, and savory croutons and is topped with its creamy Romano Caesar dressing. As explained in a release, a fresh squeeze of lemon adds the perfect amount of zest. This classic salad not only makes a quick and tasty lunch but is also a good source of protein, with 19 grams per kit.
The Memphis Style BBQ Chicken Salad also uses Northwest, greenhouse-grown Romaine Crisp and is loaded with tasty honey hickory seasoned antibiotic-free white meat chicken, a fresh and flavorful corn and black bean salsa, tangy pickled red onions, and crispy fried onions. Pepperjack cheese and Local Bounti's own special BBQ Ranch dressing deliver a satisfying and smoky taste in every bite and are a good source of protein at 15 grams per kit.
