NatureFresh Farms™ & The Produce Mom Featuring Greenhouse Education Center at Indianapolis Motor Speedway
INDIANAPOLIS, IN - NatureFresh Farms and The Produce Mom have joined forces once again, this time to bring the grower’s Greenhouse Education Center to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. On May 25, 2016, the greenhouse will make its way to the speedway for the second annual Indianapolis Public Schools’ Mega Field Day event. This event is happening on the Wednesday before the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500.
“NatureFresh Farms invested in the Greenhouse Education Center and continues its partnership with The Produce Mom for opportunities like this,” explains Chris Veillon, Director of Marketing NatureFresh Farms said in a statement. “To reach over 20,000 children, educators and professional athletes at an internationally-acclaimed venue is a very exciting opportunity. We will have NatureFresh tomato samples for every attendee.”
According to a press release, over 20,000 Indianapolis Public Schools students will be in attendance at the event, along with the entire qualifying field of Indy 500 Drivers, who will tour students through the NatureFresh Farms mobile greenhouse.

The Produce Mom has been an active partner of Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS) since 2011, and with the district, launched fresh produce educational program, Find Your Favorite®. Taylor currently serves on the Indianapolis Public Schools Wellness Committee.
