JESSUP, MD - A dream-team duo recently joined the family-owned and -operated company Pete Pappas & Sons (PP&S). The company is thrilled to welcome Kevin Benson and James McKinnis to its sales team, rounding out its rapidly growing organic sales division.

“I always had a lot of respect over the years for how the Pappas team took care of their customer needs,” commented Benson in the company’s release. “I am thrilled to be with a great group of people and a well-run business!”

Benson is an industry veteran, taking on the role of Organic Commodity Manager. He brings new opportunities to PP&S, along with three decades of experience in fresh produce. Benson specializes in organics and citrus sales and purchasing, making him a perfect sales fit for the flagship Pete’s Garden Organics line.

According to the release, Benson brings knowledge from his positions through the years spanning multiple departments, culminating in being Director of Purchasing.

Joining Benson is another industry veteran, wielding over 20 years of industry experience in both Southern and Northeastern markets. McKinnis will be joining the team as a Sales Executive, and is “extremely happy to be working at a strong family-owned and managed business like Pappas.”

McKinnis specializes in organic fresh produce sales. Having grown up around farming and produce in Texas, he brings his lifelong passion for produce to PP&S.
