Sage Fruit Company Announces Chuck Sinks Stepping Back From Role, Kevin Steiner Steps In; Steve Clement Details
YAKIMA, WA - With more than 40 years of industry experience under his belt, Chuck Sinks of Sage Fruit Company has built up vast knowledge to further the company’s operations. As he looks ahead at retirement, the current President of Sales and Marketing announced that he will be stepping back from the role to work at the company in a reduced capacity over the next two years. Kevin Steiner will fill his role on January 1, 2024.
Over the past 20-plus years, Sinks has been an integral part of Sage Fruit Company’s leadership and growth. He has a truly incredible amount of knowledge in the sales and marketing of apples, pears, and cherries and has built strong relationships within the retail sector.
Sinks started his produce career at the Dole Food Company in 1984 as the Assistant District Sales Manager. Over the next 20 years, he worked his way up to become the Vice President of Customer Relations. In 2003, he joined Sage Fruit Company.
The company acknowledged how creative and innovative Sinks has been in his marketing strategies. Revered by his peers, colleagues, and business associates alike, Sinks has created a legacy.
Kevin Steiner, who has served as a Senior Business Development Manager for Sage Fruit Company, will fill Chuck’s role at the beginning of the new year. The President of Sales and Marketing title will be retired as Sinks steps back in January.
While Steiner will take on these same responsibilities, the title of the position will now be President of Business Development and Marketing.
