Taylor Farms Prepares to Reopen Abbott Street Foodservice Facility Following 2022 Fire; Bruce Taylor and Mark Borman Discuss



SALINAS, CA - Fresh produce shines once more as Taylor Farms reopens its foodservice facility on Abbott Street in Salinas, California. In April 2022, a devastating fire occurred at the salad and healthy food producer’s facility, where the business began in California nearly 30 years ago. Now, the company is able to bring healthy and fresh salad to store shelves once more from this location as it is scheduled to be in full operation at the end of this month.

According to the release, the location is particularly meaningful to the family-owned company, as the facility is the foundation that provided the momentum for the rest of the country. Taylor Farms now has 22 production locations across North America, with 24,000 team members producing and delivering healthy fresh foods on a daily basis.

As the company noted, Taylor Farms is excited to be back up and running for the start of the Salinas season in this new state-of-the-art facility.
