ROSEMONT, IL - US Foods is expanding its footprint from sea to shining sea. The distributor’s innovative CHEF’STORE® chain will soon be welcoming four new locations to its network, as the company will be opening stores in Merced and Santa Cruz, California; Helena, Montana; and Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

“The new CHEF’STOREs will offer foodservice operators across Northern California, Montana, and North Carolina a new and convenient retail location for purchasing their much-needed food and supplies,” said John Mathews, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for CHEF’STORE. “Merced, Santa Cruz, Helena, and Winston-Salem have a growing community of restaurant owners and culinary professionals. CHEF’STORE is excited to help serve their needs with thousands of restaurant-quality products at competitive prices.”

The Merced and Santa Cruz stores join a network of 15 existing locations across California, standing at nearly 19,000 square feet and over 23,000 square feet, respectively. Both Santa Cruz and Merced stores are scheduled to open in fall 2022, according to a press release.

The Helena store will be the third CHEF’STORE location in the state of Montana and is set to open in early 2023, standing at 20,000 square feet. With a planned opening in December of this year, the Winston-Salem store will be the second in North Carolina and will boast 23,500 square feet.

CHEF’STORE has more than 80 locations across 13 states, offering thousands of restaurant-quality products at competitive prices to industry professionals and home chefs alike with no membership required. With the addition of the four new locations, US Foods will have 87 CHEF’STORE locations across the continental United States.
