CORONA, CA - More than three decades of produce industry expertise will be bolstering the Veg-Fresh Farms team, as the company revealed two new additions. Ramon Angel and David Solis will use their wealth of experience to expand key categories for the provider.

Angel is a professional with more than a decade in the produce industry, a release stated. Over the years, he has gained expertise from companies including Fresh Express Salads and Andrew & Williamson Fresh Produce.

In his new role, he will use his berry category knowledge from his tenure at Plan Berries and Central West Produce to expand the berry program at Veg-Fresh. This includes both grower relations and retail sales, and his expertise will play a pivotal part in developing and enhancing the company’s Crystal Cove Berry Brand.

Apart from his professional achievements, Angel is a proud United States Marine Corps Combat Veteran and a dedicated husband and father.

Joining Angel is Solis, who has been in the industry since 2000. He has a proven track record at companies like Interfresh, US Foods, Hardies Fruit & Veg, and Dulcinea Farms.

Solis specializes in both fresh and fresh-cut produce, and he will use his understanding to expand market share in the foodservice sector.

Outside of his career, Solis has been married to his wife for 33 years and has six children and one grandchild.
