Whole Foods Market Opens First Store in Jersey City
JERSEY CITY, NJ - As Whole Foods Market forges its entry into a vital new market, shoppers of Jersey City, New Jersey, are welcoming an exciting new grocery experience. The continuously evolving grocery chain has unveiled plans to open a 51,156-square-foot store in the region on November 9.
The new location’s product assortment features more than 1,000 local items from the Northeast, sourced with the help of John Lawson, Senior Local Forager for Whole Foods Market, a press release highlighted
Inside, shoppers will find a vast produce department featuring an array of certified organic, conventional, and Sourced for Good Offerings from more than 12 local farms.
Consumers will also be met with a curated grocery section that offers everyday essentials and plant-based product offerings. Other key highlights of the store include a robust prepared foods section featuring self-serve hot and salad bar and more. The store also features a chef’s case where customers can order “market plates” choosing from a variety of entrée and side options.
