Diazteca is an international vertically integrated family business which grows, packs, imports and distributes over 30 million pounds a year of Mexican fresh mangos, fresh hot peppers, frozen shrimp, frozen IQF fruits & vegetables, aseptic fruit purees, granulated cane sugar and other food products into the USA and Japan.
Diazteca USA, is a premier importer and distributor of safe-high quality food products with a Western Distribution Center located in Rio Rico Arizona since 1987 and an Eastern Distribution Center in McAllen Texas since 1997. In 1999, Diazteca built a 25,000 square foot refrigerated warehouse in Rio Rico, Arizona. Diazteca sells to the largest wholesalers, distributors, retailers, supermarket chain stores and foodservices, located across the U.S.A. Diazteca has a professional sales team located in Arizona, Texas and Mexico, liability insurance, and a logistics team in order to deliver on a just-in-time basis.
In Mexico, Diazteca started in the 1970's as a mango grower, in the early 1980's constructed a first mango packing shed; today, Diazteca grows over 2,000 acres of mangos, 200 acres of hot peppers, farms 150 acres of shrimp and freezes and exports over 1,000,000 pounds of shrimp a year. In addition, Diazteca represents one of the best qualified Mexican cane sugar mills with over 50,000 acres of cane sugar fields, Kosher and ISO-9001:2008 certified, operating under HACCP procedures.
