COLUMBUS, OH - DNO Produce (DNO) is eyeing significant program expansions and logistical advancements with its most recent leadership appointment, as the company recently welcomed Nick Middleton to its team as Director of Wholesale Sales. In this new role, Middleton will utilize his 20 years of retail and wholesale expertise and relationships to bolster the distributor’s wholesale produce category and its freight presence in forwarding networks.

“I look forward to taking the lead, expanding DNO’s wholesale program, and developing new logistics solutions for our growers and our customers,” said Middleton. “Throughout my career, I have been energized by the complex and nuanced demands of the produce industry. I am excited to establish this new position at DNO.”

Middleton began his produce career as a college student, according to a press release, climbing the ladder from salad bar clerk to Produce Manager at Kroger’s flagship store.

Most recently, Middleton served as Commodity Manager for Castellini Company, and prior to that, he worked as Procurement Director for the company’s subsidiary, Crosset Company.
