FoodMix Marketing Communications Announces Promotion of Three Team Members
CHICAGO, IL - Now is the time for internal promotions at FoodMix Marketing Communications. The industry partner is bolstering multiple areas of its operations, naming three of its all-star team members to new roles. Rachel Hansen has been promoted to Group Account Director, Melanie Sawyer will assume the role of Creative Director/Writer, and Jeremy Anderson is taking the reins as Associate Creative Director.
Hansen is known for having a knack for consumer insights and a passion for brand strategy. For the past eight years, she has handled major accounts such as Coca-Cola and is schooled in the art of integrated marketing communications, a press release stated. She has also worked with brands such as Pop-Tarts, Pringles, Keebler, Red Diamond Coffee & Tea, ASR Group, and Smithfield Culinary.
According to a press release, Hansen is a graduate of The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and received an MS in Integrated Marketing communications from Northwestern University.
Sawyer has a proven track record of creating an impact, generating both publicity and sales. She’s written and created ideas for Fortune 500 companies across virtually every category, including foodservice companies like McDonald’s.
The new Creative Director/Writer is skilled at both long and short form copy, scripts, direct response, social media, and more. Her work has garnered industry awards, including being shortlisted in the prestigious Cannes Advertising Festival. She earned her BA in Journalism from The University of Minnesota.
Last but certainly not least, Anderson brings eight years of agency experience to the table After graduating from the Chicago Portfolio School, he worked with clients ranging from McDonald’s to the National Food Group. He also has a background owning a small restaurant in Chicago for over 14 years.
Hansen, Sawyer, and Anderson will all utilize their experience to drive the creative campaigns for a variety of FoodMix B2B and B2C clients including Gill’s Onions, B&W Quality Growers, and more.
