Hy-Vee Opens New Stores in Murfreesboro, Tennessee
DES MOINES, IOWA - Expansion is underway! For whom, you ask? Hy-Vee is expanding its retail footprint, announcing it will be opening two new stores in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
According to the Daily News Journal, plans were approved in March for the two new stores, which will be located off New Salem Highway and off Memorial Boulevard, respectively. The New Salem Highway store will be 116,000 square feet, and the Memorial store will be part of a neighborhood shopping center with 153,051 square feet.
Hy-Vee previously announced plans to open its first Tennessee store in 2023 in Spring Hill.
Hy-Vee plans to optimize convenience and innovation at its locations with the use of robots, which will be utilized to gather groceries that customers can order online and have delivered to their cars in the parking lot, the source explained.
