CALIFORNIA - Rick Sakomoto has been a part of the fabric of the Produce industry since 1984. Rick began his career with Grand Union, Fresno, California as a Buyer-Inspector. As his career developed, Rick worked for A&P in the Fresno Buying Office, Z&S Produce in Sales, Crown Jewel Produce in Sales, Bari Produce in Sales, and for Classic Fruit in Sales.

During his career Rick has met the challenge of balancing his work life and his family life. Recently, Rick had an unfortunate accident. The accident left him with a limited use of his hands and legs. Rick is recovering at home with his family and attempting to meet the new challenges of his physical condition, a press release added.

In order to help mitigate the cost of the new medical equipment that he will require, his daughters Morgan and Makenzie began a GoFundMe campaign: https://gofund.me/a81eaf2a. The goal of their campaign is $20,000, which is a small portion of the funds that will be needed to help support Rick.
