King’s Food Markets and Balducci’s Food Lover’s Market Welcome Chris Taylor and Jennifer Cohen to its Staff
PARSIPPANY, NJ – With an eye on what the company says is strategic growth and expansion, King’s Food Markets and Balducci’s Food Lover’s Market have announced two new executives will be joining the ranks. Chris Taylor will join the company as Senior Vice President of Merchandising & Marketing, while Jennifer Cohen will assume the role of Vice President of Catering Sales, Services and Entertaining.
Taylor, who brings with her more than 25 years in various retail experience, will now be responsible for driving profitability, product positioning, merchandising efforts, and promotional marketing. Starting her career on the distribution side of the industry with time at McLane Company, Chris soon took a position as Nutrition Coordinator for Whole Foods Market, later holding additional roles as Business Unit Director and Regional Director of Category Management /VP of Purchasing. At Whole Foods, her responsibilities included store design and development, procurement, merchandising, and marketing, according to a press release, before again adding responsibilities as Global Senior Executive Coordinator of the Data and Analytics Team.
In Cohen’s new role, she will drive plans and programs for the company’s special occasions, oversee catering services and the gift basket business, and also manage its Cooking Studio. With 15 years of experience in retail and restaurants, building and driving catering businesses, Cohen has held multiple roles over her career. These positions have included Event Coordinator, Assistant Regional Manager, and Restaurant Owner, and most recently, she was the Director of Catering, Marketing, and Operations with G Street Food.
